I am an applied researcher and economist with more than ten years of experience studying how people make decisions, navigate constraints, and interact with policies, services, and technology. My work combines behavioural research, survey and experimental design, quantitative analysis, stakeholder engagement, and AI-enabled prototyping. I specialize in turning ambiguous questions into structured research agendas, measurement frameworks, and clear recommendations for decision-makers.

AI-Supported Day-Planning Application
An independent product exploration examining how AI can help people convert unstructured thoughts into realistic, editable plans while preserving user control.
Methods and skills: AI workflow design, rapid prototyping, behavioural problem definition, output evaluation, responsible AI and human-in-the-loop design.
Crime Mapping and Hotspot Policing
A government-facing research and technology initiative involving crime-data digitization, development of a crime-mapping application and hotspot-detection tool, police workforce systems, and the design of a randomized controlled trial.
Methods and skills: Survey design, experimental design, spatial analysis, machine learning, administrative data, stakeholder coordination and technology implementation.
Public Transit and Household Decision-Making
A multi-year research program examining how transportation access affects residential choices, household structure, employment, education, and economic opportunity across different population groups.
Methods and skills: Behavioural segmentation, causal inference, survey and administrative data, geospatial analysis, Python, QGIS and Stata.
Confidential International Development Evaluation
Designed a reusable Social Return on Investment methodology, outcome-measurement framework, and decision tools for evaluating a multi-component international development program. Project data, calculations, client materials, and deliverables are confidential and have been omitted.

I hold a PhD in Economics from the University of Toronto and an MPhil in Economics from the University of Cambridge. I have worked with government agencies, international development organizations, academic researchers and policy institutions, including collaborations involving Princeton University, Harvard Kennedy School, J-PAL/CLEAR and Plan International Canada. My work is guided by curiosity, methodological rigor and a commitment to designing services and systems that respond to the different circumstances in which people make decisions.
